As community members, we have the chance to shape the area's future in a positive way. One example of this is the West Oakland Farmers Market, which creates a sense of community and promotes accessibility to fresh produce. While the neighborhood is changing, it is still considered a food desert and addressing food accessibility for all residents is crucial.
Prescott Night Market is a gathering place that comes alive once a month on Thursday nights from May to October between 5 pm and 9 pm. It unites residents, food makers, artisans, entrepreneurs, and local businesses in celebration of our rich and diverse community.
Live Music Fridays showcases Bay Area and Oakland-based jazz, funk, and soul artists every Friday from 5pm to 8pm.
